We carve marble, wood and polystylrene for artists, providing services from roughing out to end to end production.

We support both personal and commercial projects by providing affordable access to CNC and 3D printing technology.

The studio offers a free workspace for artists if they want to hand finish their work, with experienced artisans to assist with tools and setup. For beginners, we also offer tailored courses for working with marble.

All creatives are welcome, from experienced woodworkers and marble artists to those wanting to explore new materials.

CNC MILLING

  • Our ABB 6 axis CNC machine, designed for marble and wood sculpting, combines precision engineering with advanced software to create intricate, high-quality sculptures.

  • It has a capacity of 4.5 meters in height. These machines utilise a rotating spindle with diamond-tipped tools to carve and shape marble with exceptional accuracy, following 3D digital designs.

  • Equipped with multiple axes of movement, CNC marble machines can execute complex cuts, fine detailing, and smooth finishes that would be extremely time-consuming or difficult to achieve manually. This automation allows for consistency, repeatability, and the ability to produce sculptures that push the boundaries of traditional carving.

3D PRINTING

  • Our Prusa XL 3D printer, used for creating maquettes for marble and wood sculptures, offers an innovative approach to the design and prototyoing process.

  • These printers can quickly produce highly detailed, scaled-down models of sculptures using PLA filament, allowing artists to visualize and test their concepts before committing to marble.

  • The printer's precision in layer-by-layer construction enables fine details to be replicated accurately, and its ability to handle complex geometries makes it a powerful tool for refining shapes and proportions.

  • Once the PLA maquette is created, it serves as a valuable guide for the marble carving process, helping to optimize workflow and reduce material waste.

STUDIO SPACE

  • Our studio space is designed to provide artists with a welcoming, fully-equipped environment. If you would prefer to hand-finish your marble or wood pieces, you are welcome to use the space at no additional cost.

  • We offer a dedicated work area with all the necessary tools and materials to help you achieve the perfect finish on your creations. Whether you prefer the tactile experience of shaping and polishing your artwork yourself or simply want to add that personal touch, we’re here to support you.

  • We begin by sourcing the raw marble from trusted quarries. Once the material arrives at our studio, we use an STL scan to direct our ABB CNC machine to rough out the piece. Artisans then begin the delicate work of transforming it into a unique piece of art. Using both traditional techniques and modern technology, every curve and detail is carefully carved and refined to perfection, ensuring that each piece has its own character and depth.

  • After the finishing touches are completed, we crate each piece with the utmost care and attention to ensure it reaches its destination in perfect condition.
